We went on virtual field studies of our school and of important places in our community.

Then, we interviewed and read about important community helpers at our school and in our community.

We took notes!

We selected one community helper we wanted to write and draw about.

We wrote our first drafts and drew and painted or colored our pictures!

Then, we used a checklist to check our writing and set a goal to improve.

We rewrote our writing to make it even better!

Last, we recorded videos of our writing and drew and colored or painted the places in the community!
