When you sign in with Google, we collect only the information necessary to create and manage your account:
Full name
Email address
Profile photo (if available)
Google Account unique identifier
This information is used solely for authentication, your profile, leaderboard identity, friends, and cloud synchronization.
To provide the core functionality of Detox Mode, we securely store:
Lifetime XP
Current level and title
Streak
Total completed detox sessions
Weekly and monthly focus statistics
Leaderboard rankings
Mission progress
Focus goals
User preferences and settings
This data is synchronized through Firebase so your progress is available across your devices.
The app stores certain settings locally on your device, including:
Theme preference (Light/Dark)
Selected country
Detox lists
Schedule Detox lists
Allowed apps
Cached pricing information
Notification preferences
This information remains on your device unless synchronization is required for core features.
Detox Mode uses Android's Accessibility Service only after you explicitly enable the permission.
The Accessibility Service is used exclusively to:
Block distracting applications during an active Detox Session.
Prevent opening apps included in your Detox List.
Enforce Strict Detox Mode.
Allow access only to apps included in your Allowed Apps list.
Automatically maintain focus until the session ends.
Read passwords
Read personal messages
Read banking information
Collect typed text
Monitor browsing content
Record screen activity
Accessibility is used only for the digital wellbeing features requested by the user.
During an active Detox Session:
Only apps in your Allowed Apps list can be used.
Apps inside your Detox List are blocked until the session finishes.
Google Play Store search may not be accessible if Play Store is blocked.
Google Account or Play Store account status pages may also be unavailable while blocked.
These restrictions automatically end when the Detox Session completes or according to your configured rules.
Users have full control over their Detox List, Allowed Apps, and Schedule Detox configuration.
Detox Mode uses Google Play Billing for all purchases, commitment penalties, and voluntary donations.
We do not collect, process, or store:
Credit card numbers
Debit card details
UPI information
Bank account information
Payment passwords
All financial transactions are securely processed by Google Play.
We use Google Firebase services to provide secure cloud functionality, including:
Firebase Authentication
Cloud Firestore
Firebase Analytics (where applicable)
Firebase Cloud Messaging (if notifications are enabled)
Firebase is used only to operate the app and improve reliability. We do not sell or share your personal information with advertisers.
If you use leaderboard or friend features, your profile may display:
Display name
Username
Profile picture
Level
XP
Rank
City (if selected by you)
Only the information necessary for these social features is visible to other users.
We protect your information through:

Google Play secure payment infrastructure
Access-controlled cloud storage
While we use industry-standard security measures, no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your account data remains stored until you choose to delete your account.
Deleting your account permanently removes your associated data, including:
Profile
XP
Levels
Streak
Leaderboard records
Missions
Cloud progress
This action cannot be undone.

Access your profile information
Edit your account details
Configure or disable Accessibility permission
Delete your account permanently
Contact us regarding your personal data
Detox Mode is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect new features, legal requirements, or service improvements. The latest version will always be available within the app and on our official Privacy Policy page.
