Keynote Speakers

 

Johannes Hörner is Professor of Economics at the Toulouse School of Economics. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 2000, and he has held positions at Yale and the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. His academic interests range from game theory to the theory of industrial organization. His research has focused on repeated games, dynamic games, and auctions.



 

Stephen Morris is an economic theorist recognized for his work on the foundations and applications of game theory. He is known particularly for his work on higher-order beliefs in economics and game theory. He was born in Weybridge, England, and graduated from the University of Cambridge with a degree in Mathematics and Economics in 1985. He received a Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University in 1991, after working as an economist for two years for the Government of Uganda. He taught at the University of Pennsylvania, Yale University and Princeton University before joining the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2019, where he is currently the Peter A. Diamond Professor of Economics. He served as President of the Econometric Society in 2019 and will be President of the Society for Advancement of Economic Theory in 2023.

 

Aldo Rustichini is a professor of economics at the University of Minnesota and he is associated with the Interdisciplinary Center for Cognitive Sciences. He has worked on several research areas relating to economics, including decision theory, game theory, general equilibrium theory, neuroscience and economics, experimental economics, and behavioral economics. Aldo has also conducted research on political economy, microeconomic theory, economic dynamics, macroeconomics and models of bounded rationality. He is a fellow of the Econometric Society and a Council Member of the Game Theory Society.
