DesignVault is developed and operated by HamzaLabs. This page explains how the app handles information when you use it.
DesignVault is a bookmark and discovery app for designers. It provides a curated list of design related websites and tools that you can browse and open. The app does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information in order to use any of its features.
HamzaLabs does not collect, store, or transmit personal information about you. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, photographs, contacts, or any similar details. We do not operate user accounts and we maintain no server that receives information from the app.
When you save a resource using the bookmark button, that choice is recorded in local storage on your own device. This information stays on your device. It is not uploaded to us and it is not shared with any third party.
You can remove this information at any time by clearing the app's storage from your device settings, or by uninstalling the app. Uninstalling deletes it permanently and it cannot be recovered.
DesignVault displays advertisements supplied by Google AdMob. In order to deliver and measure advertisements, Google may collect and process certain information from your device. This can include your advertising identifier, approximate location derived from your network, device type, operating system version, and information about how you interact with the advertisements shown.
This processing is carried out by Google and not by HamzaLabs. We do not receive this information, and we have no access to it. Google's handling of this data is governed by Google's own privacy policy, which you can read at https://policies.google.com/privacy
You can limit personalised advertising or reset your advertising identifier at any time. On most Android devices this option is found in Settings, then Google, then Ads.
DesignVault contains links to websites operated by other companies and individuals. When you choose to open one of these links, you leave DesignVault and the privacy practices of that website apply to your visit.
HamzaLabs does not control these websites, does not monitor them, and is not responsible for their content, their security, or the way they handle your information. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any website you visit through the app.
DesignVault requests access to the internet so that it can open the links it lists and display advertisements. It does not request access to your camera, microphone, precise location, contacts, storage, call logs, or messages.
DesignVault is intended for a general audience and is designed for people working or studying in design. It is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through this app, please contact us using the address below and we will look into it.
Because HamzaLabs does not collect or store your personal information, there is no personal data held by us that could be exposed in a security incident. Information about your saved bookmarks remains on your own device and is protected by the security measures your device provides.
You may stop all information processing described in this policy at any time by uninstalling DesignVault. You may also limit advertising related processing through your device's advertising settings without uninstalling the app.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time, for example if we add new features or change how advertising works in the app. When we do, we will revise the date shown at the top of this page and publish the updated policy here. We encourage you to review this page occasionally.
