The 3rd General Lyceum of Tripoli is one of the four Senior High Schools of Tripoli, a city of 40.000 people, located in the southwestern part of Greece. It employs 29 teachers for 255 students who are equally divided in each of the three grades of the upper secondary education.
It is a state school that follows the state curriculum for the teaching of both the general subjects and the humanities, science and economical and computer studies orientation. However, all the members of the school community are really hard-working and open-minded. They are thus interested in adopting new and innovative pedagogical approaches and engaging their students in all kinds of projects.
In short, the school has already been involved in a number of eTwinning projects pertinent to the environment, human rights, digital citizenship, media literacy, etc. It has also carried out and successfully completed a Comenius and an Erasmus + (KA1 Action) project.
Our school started education as Bozüyük Anatolian Teacher High School in 1990 in the building of Bozüyük Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation. On November 25, 1997, it was moved to the hostel building of our school, which was built by the Ministry of National Education. Until 2001, this building was used as both an education and a hostel building. With the transformation of Anatolian Teacher High Schools into Anatolian High Schools in 2014, our school continues its education as Kumral Abdal Anatolian High School.
Creative Youth Academy was established in Budapest. Members of the academy are enthusiastic, dynamic, and responsible people. Academy considers and deals with youngsters' cultural and social interests through non-formal education. Its basic action is that aiming prosperity of young people. Our story; We got inspired by our first Erasmus plus project and We discussed why we don't do some things for young people. Afterward, we tried to improve ourselves and planned our strategies and goals. Now, we are here for young people for their personal development, initiatives, and dreams.
