The tools on this page are appropriate for Design Teams or any teams.
Google docs allows Design Team members to have equal access to documents - PC, tablet, mobile. Create and share a folder in a Google Drive to hold all of the DT's work. You'll need to create a free Google account to access Google docs. Set permissions to control who can view, comment, or edit.
OneDrive is an alternative way to collaboratively create and store the documents created by the Design Team. Your organization may have OneDrive already or you can get it FREE.
Microsoft Teams is part of Microsoft 365. Like Slack, "Teams" is an all-in-one hub. A Design Team can use Teams to chat, meet, and collaborate all in one virtual place. Free subscription option available if your employer doesn't have Microsoft 365.
Slack is an all-in-one communication tool. The Design Team can use it for text messaging the team AND for holding key documents for DT meetings. You can even link directly to apps like Zoom for video calls.
Zoom is a great tool for Design Team members to meet virtually. Talk up to 40 min with a free account or unlimited with subscription. It works on phones, tablets, laptops or regular desktop computers.
ClickUp is another all-in-one tool. It connects many apps together for seamless team collaboration. ClickUp features a project management tool that can help Design Team and Steering Committee manage implementing interventions in IDEAS Step 6.
