Keep the image height the same but increase the width for variable sizes of your logo. As you can see from this video tutorial I have three different sizes each save as a png file.
You can also use jpg or gif images for your logo, the quality is not as sharp and does not have a transparency option like the png format.

This video applies to all web templates from the shop. When you have published your site, always to test on another device. If your site does not appear, then it is most likely set as Restricted. To fix this, click on the share icon and under Published Site, and select Public.

If Google Calendar is set up and you want to embed it into Google Sites, there are some limitations to its appearance. However, you can try this method to see if it works for you.
