Professional Development

I've always thought of myself foremost as a student. I have been continuously pursuing knowledge through education since I graduated from high school. After the credential program finished, I was part of what was called the Teacher Induction Program, which actually equals two 3-unit courses of continuing education. Ever since beginning my career as an instructional designer, I've also been actively seeking ways to grow my knowledge and receive feedback on my work. @ONE's courses are full of activities and means to be a part of community of people with all different job titles in the community college system. I found great solace in being a part of these courses as a space of growth. As I finish my certificate with @ONE, I hope to go on to earn the Certificate in Online Teaching & Design. I have also been accepted into two Master's programs and will be continuing my education in instructional design.
