Desi Dog Nation is Islamabad’s premier certified force-free dog training and behavior consultancy. More than just a service, we are Pakistan’s first community dedicated to ethical, science-based, and compassionate dog ownership.
Our mission is simple: to make dog training kinder, smarter, and more effective by bridging the communication gap between you and your dog. We specialize in in-home, at-your-doorstep training programs customized for real-world results—whether you have a purebred or a beloved Desi dog.
Our Core Philosophy: Force-Free, Positive Results
We use 100% force-free and positive reinforcement methods—no shock, prong, choke, or punishment tools, ever. Our approach is built on trust, communication, and understanding, helping every dog become confident, balanced, and happy.
Professional Training Programs:
Foundation Obedience: Essential skills like recall, loose-leash walking, sit, stay, and manners.
Behavior Modification: Expertly solving complex issues such as aggression, fear, separation anxiety, and reactivity.
Puppy Socialization & Early Learning: Laying the groundwork for lifelong good behavior.
Advanced Control: Programs focused on building high-level confidence and reliable behavior in any environment.
We are proud to be a growing movement that educates, supports, and inspires responsible pet ownership across Pakistan, one dog at a time.
Usman, the founder and lead dog trainer & behaviorist at Desi Dog Nation, is driven by a simple but powerful philosophy: that dogs thrive when trained through kindness, trust, and science, not control or punishment.
What began as a lifelong passion for all dogs—including his own dogs and the stray companions he grew up with—evolved into a professional mission. With over 6 years of experience and multiple international certifications, Usman has established himself as one of the region’s premier certified force-free trainer and behaviorists.
He has successfully trained and rehabilitated hundreds of dogs across Islamabad and Rawalpindi, specializing in complex issues like aggression, fear, separation anxiety, and reactivity.
Usman’s expertise is widely recognized within the community. He has served as an official judge at national pet events, including the Centaurus Mall Pawsitivity Expo Dog Show and the Beaconhouse College Pet Fest, promoting responsible pet ownership and ethical training practices.
His ultimate goal is not just to train dogs, but to change Pakistan’s dog culture:
“My purpose is to inspire humans to understand their dogs better and build a community that’s more educated, compassionate, and proud of our Desi roots.”
