Fill out our DSLV Interest Form. A team member will be in contact with you. Once you completely filled out our interest form, go ahead and start looking at some of the audition requirements.  

Professional dress is an important component of any audition - please dress in appropriate audition attire. Be sure to bring water to stay hydrated. Please organize your music in a binder with correct score markings & musical cuts. First impressions are everything! 

Prepare a one-minute cut of an art song of your choosing. Your audition song should be a selection that showcases the best parts of your voice and musical abilities. Songs can be in any language. A pianist will be provided at the audition for your convenience. 

Sight-reading is an important skill that will help our ensemble be more efficient in our preparation, rehearsals & performances. You will be asked to sing one sight-reading example in any of the following key signatures: G Major, D Major, C Major, Bb Major or F Major. Examples will be (X) measures long with no musical repeats.

You will be asked to sing a cut of a prepared DSLV piece that will be showcased in our concert season. Things to consider: Pieces can vary in tempo, language & be from any musical era.
