Overview of Desert Rose Corgis
Hello! I'm glad you're interested in possibly giving one of our puppies a home. Here is a quick rundown on our breeding program.
All our breeding dogs are fully registered with AKC.
All our breeding dogs have their eyes examined with OFA and CAER records show the status is normal (no eye diseases).
All our dogs have a full Embark test panel done which confirms:
•Our Pembroke Welsh Corgis are purebred. They are 100% Pembroke Welsh Corgi.
•Our Pembroke Welsh Corgis will NEVER produce at risk puppies for vWD, EIC, & DM. All puppies won't be affected,
We are very transparent and are more than happy to provide records of all health screenings and examinations. All our records are public with OFA and Embark.
The following are guarantee for each individual puppy before going home:
All puppies will have a wellness examination, appropriate vaccinations and deworming by our veterinarian.
All puppies will start with early neurological stimulation, which enhances the natural abilities of the puppy. It helps lead to socialization, maturity and better problem solving abilities.
All puppies will be socialized both indoors and outdoors (safely). They will experience different noises, different visualizations, different people and animals. They will have adventures in a household environment, and in the world such as stores, car rides, and more.
All puppies will be introduced to basic commands such as sit, lay down, come when called.
All puppies will be enriched with interactive and mind stimulating toys such as treat puzzles, snuffle mats, etc.
All puppies will begin potty training both outdoors and to use a puppy pad incase of an emergency.
All puppies will perform for an Puppy Aptitude Test and have the scores recorded for reference of each individual temperament.
All puppies will go home with a Puppy Package which will include a baggie of puppy food, a toy, a packet of puppy pads, a folder including health documents, dog parent's background, and limited AKC registration papers.
We currently do not have any pups available.
We are possibly having a litter around the end of 2022.
