All students receive 30 minute lessons for the entire year in a small group setting with other students that play the same instrument.
Students may leave for lessons at the time listed NOT BEFORE, there is travel time built into the schedule. If your lesson is from 9:20—10:00 you should leave class at 9:20 and you will return before or by 10:00.
A student may miss a lesson for a test, quiz, review or important presentation.
Students must make up all of the class-work that was missed during a band lesson.
Communicate! Please communicate with your classroom teacher and Mr. Phillips-Burdge regarding missed lessons.
Instruments must be stored in the classroom, in a locker or in the band storage closet. No instruments should be left in the hallway.
Lesson schedules will be emailed to families and teachers every 2-3 months. Hard copies will also be available in the band room.
