Artist's statement 

I am an artist working within the field of conceptual jewellery and installation, using natural materials to explore our connection with place. I graduated this year from my degree in Jewellery Design at Carmarthen School of Art. Combining copper and foraged materials, my ideas often emerge through the act of making. I use printmaking and sewing within my practice, building textures and imagery through etch and combining components through stitch. Site specific photography and film allow me to capture this sense of connection. I feel that sharing of skills and community engagement are incredibly important, and have experience in facilitating creative workshops.
