1. OVERVIEW
Museum of Rules is designed as a private, fully offline puzzle game. The app does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal data or device data.
2. DATA COLLECTION AND SHARING
Museum of Rules does not collect or share any user data. In particular, the app does not collect names, email addresses, account identifiers, precise or approximate location, contacts, photos, files, advertising identifiers, device identifiers, usage analytics, diagnostics, financial information, health information, or any other personal or sensitive data.
The app contains no advertising, analytics, account, cloud, purchase, notification, or network service. It does not include third-party runtime SDKs that collect data.
3. LOCAL GAME DATA
The app stores only the information needed for gameplay on the user's device. This may include campaign progress, completed rooms, mastery results, audio preferences, the reduced-motion setting, challenge history, and the active room session.
This information is stored locally in the app's private storage and is never transmitted by Museum of Rules. Android automatic backup and device-transfer backup are disabled for the app. Local game data remains on the device until the user clears the app's storage or uninstalls the app.
4. PERMISSIONS AND NETWORK ACCESS
Museum of Rules requests no Android permissions and does not use network functionality. The app cannot access contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, media, notifications, or advertising identifiers.
5. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORM PROCESSING
Google Play may independently process information related to store access, downloads, installation, security, or the user's Google account under Google's own terms and privacy policy. That platform processing is performed by Google and is not data collection by Museum of Rules.
6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Museum of Rules is not directed specifically to children. Because the app does not collect or share user data, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. DATA SECURITY
The app's offline architecture and lack of data transmission reduce privacy risk. Local game data is kept within Android's app-specific storage. No method of storage can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure, but Museum of Rules does not send local game data to the publisher or any third party.
8. USER CHOICES AND DATA DELETION
Users can delete all locally stored game data at any time by clearing the app's storage in Android system settings or by uninstalling the app. Because the publisher does not receive or maintain user data, there is no server-side user record to access, correct, export, or delete.
9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If the app's privacy practices change, this policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration will be updated before the changed version is distributed. The effective date at the top of this policy identifies the current version.
