This tutorial shows a graphical investigation that demonstrates the derivative of y = sin x is y' = cos x.
This tutorial shows through an investigation the derivative of cos x is -sin x. Using a Geometer's Sketchpad drawing, several tangent lines are drawn on the cos x function from 0 to 2pi and the slopes of the tangents measured. Then the slopes of the tangents are plotted as the function (or y) values using the x coordinates of the tangent points. The resulting graph is the y = -sin x function.
This tutorial develops the derivatives of the sine and cosine functions and shows some examples of finding derivatives with simple sinusoidal functions. This is the first part of a two part tutorial.

This tutorial shows how to differentiate sine and cosine functions involving the Power Rule, Chain Rule, Product Rule, Quotient Rule, and other simple differentiation rules
This tutorial works through two examples of modelling with sinusoidal functions and using derivatives of sinusoidal functions to solve problems.
