My primary research interest lies at the intersection of health, labor and development economics. A central focus of my current work is understanding the role of early-life circumstances (including congenital and early-onset disabilities) in shaping long-term outcomes. I am also interested in topics related to poverty, inequality, gender, child development, human capital formation and household decision-making. I use applied microeconomic methods, including experimental and quasi-experimental approaches, Â to answer question on causal effects.
