My research focuses on how students' and parents' beliefs influence important decisions about education as well as the role of educational institutions in framing the way they think and behave. I also study the consequences of both pre-K-12 and higher education policy more broadly. Using both field experiments and large administrative data sets, I am able to pose and address novel research questions in the economics of education and public policy.
