I've been involved in music from and early age, choosing the alto saxophone at age 10 and never looking back. I have always enjoyed learning new instruments, and perform professionally on saxophones, flute, clarinet, bass (guitar and upright) and piano. I also enjoy singing, playing guitar, and using technology to create music.
I teach private music lessons in: jazz and classical saxophone, clarinet, and flute, jazz, popular and early classical piano, electric and acoustic bass, guitar and early drums. I am also an experienced composer and arranger in jazz, blues, and classical styles.
Please check out the pages above for examples of my work performing, writing, and educating young musicians. I pride myself on writing and performing music as authentically as possible, and on sound, tone and groove with any instrument I play. I am constantly seeking surprise and novelty with my music, and love playing with musicians who also appreciate in the moment creation.
