Dr. Lester's lab uses electrochemical and behavioral techniques to study dopamine transmission related to disorders such as addiction, ADHD, anxiety, and Parkinson's disease.

In most of our current studies, we are investigating the neurochemical mechanisms driving reward processing for different reward types (such as social vs drug).
