NATIONAL MATHEMATICS DAY CELEBRATION -2025-26

BGS National Public School, Hulimavu, celebrated National Mathematics Day with great enthusiasm and reverence, commemorating the birth anniversary of the legendary mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan.
The programme commenced with an invocation song, seeking divine blessings, followed by the lighting of the lamp and garlanding of the portrait of Srinivasa Ramanujan, setting a respectful and inspiring tone for the celebration.
The event was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, whose esteemed presence added significance and honour to the occasion.
The programme was presided over by our wise and inspirational Principal, Dr. Malini M. Dutta, whose guidance and encouragement added immense value to the celebration.Students actively participated in a range of thoughtfully planned activities that highlighted the relevance and beauty of mathematics. A presentation on the significance of National Mathematics Day and Indian mathematicians offered insights into India’s rich mathematical heritage.
The Junior Quiz for Classes 6 and 7 challenged young minds with engaging questions, while the Yoga Postures with Angle Formations creatively demonstrated the presence of mathematics in physical movement. The Mathematics-themed Fashion Show added colour, confidence, and creativity to the stage, blending learning with expression.
The celebration concluded with the announcement of winners and a heartfelt vote of thanks, acknowledging the collective efforts of the students, teachers, coordinators, and support teams who made the event a memorable success.
