1) Identify a "dying" town in Italy that is NOT one of the towns in the resources below (it cannot be: Civita di Bagnoregio or Riace); make sure to cite articles you read in Noodle Tools. You must find Italian language sources. Also take notes in Noodle Tools (your notes can be in English). Share your Noodle Tools project to my Project Inbox: The Depopulation Crisis in Italy. If you have any questions about using Noodle Tools, refer to NoodleTools Quick Guide for Students. Each group member should have their own project in NoodleTools, shared with their partner.
2) Use the resources provided to identify causes and evaluate solutions that have already been tried by "dying" Italian towns and also to identify potential barriers to implementation.
For every article or video or other source you use (including the ones below):
Cite the artifact in NoodleTools (follow the steps provided in Noodle Tools for this)
Take notes on the digital notecards (make sure each card is tied to the source. To help in this process, it is best practice to cite the artifact before you begin taking notes).
Hint: I strongly suggest you divide the MUST-DO reading between pair/group members and then discuss in your breakout room in the Meet to share content knowledge! Then, go find Italian-language sources (it may be online articles or TV News or other YouTube videos from credible sources).
As you investigate and find Italian language sources, curate a vocabulary list on Quizlet.com by reviewing the flashcards/vocabulary that already exists (I have started it off with 7+ terms) in the card set, and then adding your own if there is no existing card. You may also add to definitions on existing cards. Make sure your entries are Italian first, then English on the second card. Grazie.
