ORIENTATION POLICY GUIDELINES ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE REVISED SCHOOL-BASED MANAGEMENT (SBM) SYSTEM

On August 7-8, 2025, an Orientation on the Annual Technical Assistance Plan This orientation is designed to deepen our understanding of DepEd Order No. 7, s. 2024, which provides the Policy Guidelines on the Implementation of the Revised School-Based Management (SBM) System.
The Orientation was conducted to all School heads with their focal persons. As frontliners and leaders in basic education delivery, teachers, school principals, and school heads play a vital role in making SBM truly work in in their schools. The revised policy underscores the importance of participatory governance, shared accountability, and continuous school improvement—principles that directly shape the day-to-day practices.
IMPORTANT POINTS OF THE ORIENTATION
This orientation is conducted to familiarize school personnel with the key provisions of DepEd Order No. 7, s. 2024 and how it differs from DO 83, s. 2012
The Revised SBM policy promotes shared leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement in schools.
As teachers and school leaders, we are key implementers of this policy—our decisions and actions directly affect school governance and learner outcomes.
We aim to understand the key changes in the SBM framework; align our school practices with the new policy directions, and strengthen our roles in planning, resource management, and stakeholder engagement.
This orientation is a step toward building a more empowered, responsive, and learner-centered school system.
Ultimately, this orientation is part of our collective journey toward more responsive, effective, and inclusive school governance that puts learners at the center of every decision.
ORIENTATION ON WebTA PORTAL WITH SCHOOL HEADS

To further strengthen the digital competencies of school leaders and enhance the delivery of technical support services, the Schools Division Office of Las Piñas City conducted an Orientation on the Web-Based Technical Assistance (WebTA) Portal Navigation on July 11, 2025. The activity was facilitated by Dr. Ma. Teresa Delos Santos and Ms. Ellaine Montas, who provided an overview of the WebTA platform designed to streamline the provision, documentation, and monitoring of technical assistance across schools.
The orientation gathered school heads from both elementary and secondary schools across the division, aiming to equip them with practical knowledge on navigating the portal, submitting requests for technical support, tracking the status of interventions, and generating relevant reports. By strengthening the capacity of school leaders in digital platforms such as the WebTA, SDO Las Piñas ensures that no school is left behind in the pursuit of quality education and effective governance.
ORIENTATION ON ANNUAL TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PLAN WITH SCHOOL HEADS AND PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT SUPERVISORS

On April 16, 2025, an Orientation on the Annual Technical Assistance Plan was successfully conducted with the School Heads of the Division. The activity was spearheaded by the Schools Division Superintendent, in collaboration with the Division FTAD (Field Technical Assistance Division) Team. Held in a spirit of collaboration and continuous improvement, the orientation aimed to align school leaders with the Division’s strategic directions in providing responsive and needs-based technical assistance.
During the session, the Division FTAD Team discussed the framework, processes, and tools for planning, delivering, and monitoring technical assistance across schools. School Heads actively engaged in discussions, shared insights, and expressed their commitment to strengthening instructional and managerial practices through targeted support.
This orientation marks a significant step toward enhancing school governance and instructional leadership, ensuring that technical assistance is not just a compliance requirement but a meaningful support system that contributes to improved learning outcomes.
