jada-amina - Black Harvest Film Festival, Curator
jada-amina is a Chicago-based new genres artist, curator, and cultural worker working across sound, writing, video, and collage. Their practice draws from the ancestral, the contemporary, and the unsung to engage Black life across space and time.They are Curator of the Black Harvest Film Festival at the Gene Siskel Film Center and Public Programs and Engagement Manager at the South Side Community Art Center.
Bryan Wendorf - Programmer & Artistic Director, Chicago Underground Film Festival
Bryan Wendorf is the co-founder and Artistic Director of the Chicago Underground Film Festival, the longest-running underground film festival in the world. Since launching CUFF in 1994 while working at a Chicago video store, he has championed bold, unconventional cinema and helped shape the landscape of underground film. In addition to his work at CUFF, Wendorf has curated film programs for institutions such as Conversations at the Edge at the Gene Siskel Film Center, Mana Contemporary, Transmediale (Berlin), and Revelation Film Festival (Perth). He has served on juries at Slamdance, Onion City, CIMMFest, and more. His writing on film, music, and pop culture has appeared in Indiewire, Newcity, and Wormwood Chronicles. He studied fine art and communications at Columbia College Chicago.
Kayla Myers - CineYouth Festival Director & Lead Shorts Programmer, Chicago International Film Festival
Kayla Myers is a film programmer, writer, and filmmaker. She's the Director of the CineYouth Festival and Lead Shorts Programmer at the Chicago International Film Festival. Kayla has previously been the Director of Programming at Indie Memphis, Series Producer for The DocYard, and a Features Programmer for the San Francisco Documentary Festival. She is passionate about making film more accessible, and Kayla’s writing has appeared in Filmmaker Magazine, Them., and Vox Magazine.
Collin Souter - Shorts Film Programmer, Chicago Critics Film Festival
Collin Souter graduated from Columbia College in Chicago with a Film/Video degree. He is currently actively involved with the Chicago Critics Film Festival as the Short Films Programmer while also writing a monthly column for RogerEbert.com called Short Films In Focus. He also co-hosts the podcast Christmas Movies Actually (with Kerry Finegan).
Iona Bodem - Shorts Programmer, Reeling: The Chicago LGBTQ+ International Film Festival
Iona Bodem is a multimedia artist, filmmaker and film programmer. Iona has previously programmed for Slamdance Film Festival and is currently working as the Shorts Programmer for Reeling Film Festival, Chicago’s LGBTQIA+ film festival.
