On The Real Films
Get ready for an amazing in-person experience with On The Real Films, a Chicago based production company that loves story telling and keeps it real - founded in 2011 by partners Erin Babbin and Michael Sullivan. Their films have documented artists, musicians, arts organizations, nonprofits and university programs. Their work has been screened internationally in Paris, New York, Mexico City, London, Mumbai, Istanbul, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Tulum, Missoula, Hamburg, Denver, York, Belleville, San Francisco, Toronto, Park City, and Chicago.

SoapBox Productions and Organizing
Join us for an transformative experience with SoapBox’s Caullen Hudson (DePaul grad) and David Moran to discuss how to make Micro-Docs to create positive change. Soapbox Productions and Organizing is a film and social activism nonprofit specializing in multimedia storytelling for structural social change. Their mission is to utilize media to power, frame, and sustain social movements that advance holistic solutions to root problems. In tandem with grassroots organizing efforts for racial, economic, and social justice, SoapBox delivers emotional impact storytelling for liberation. They produce documentaries, fiction films, podcasts, articles, and community-based programming that intend to educate, agitate, inspire, and ultimately transform.
