The UG Department of English was established in the year 1963 in the college to impart students the knowledge of English language and literature.  In the undivided district of Balasore, the department housed a unique trend of teaching and learning for several decades with eminent teachers and dedicated students from different parts of our state.  Presently, the department has etched its place among the best performing centers imparting English teaching in Bhadrak.  It has produced students who have gone on to achieve incredible success in various professional fields. Apart from classroom teaching, the department also engages in conducting seminars and workshops for the benefit of the students. The department follows an all-inclusive approach while dealing with students from various strata of the society. The department believes in the motto: Together we can.
