Departmental Activity

                        Department was established in the year 1999 with the establishtment of the college. The basic objectives was to cater to the needs of the education in Osmanabad area. The department is sincerely working to achive the objectives, it runs three year degree course of B.Sc. of Dr. B.A.M.U. Aurangabad. The Department of Chemistry endeavors to become a leading provider of interdisciplinary approaches to Chemistry Education and Research that attracts and prepares diverse students to be scientifically literate, socially committed and competitive professionals to meet the future demands of the changing global environment. 

               The college offers Chemistry with Organic, Inorganic and Physical Chemistry as a major subject for the Bachelor of Science degree. Within short span of time department. College has primary Research lab. The department has grown in quality as well as quantity. Department has been taking activities like Value Added Courses, Certificate Courses, Research Projects. College also conduct Remedial coaching classes for learners. Over the years the department has conducted several excellent national, state and regional level seminars and workshops on frontier areas of chemistry for the benefit of students, faculty and research scholars.

                   Head and Assistant Professor Dr. Makarand Choudhari has completed Ph.D. degree from Dr. B.A.M.University, Aurangabad, M.Phil. Mr. Nitin Tupsamindar has qualified NET, GATE exam and Pursuing Ph.D degree on Polymer Chemistry from Solapur University. Mr. Shivaji Khadake pursuing Ph.D degree in Organic Chemistry from IIT Hydrabad. qualified CSIR NET JRF with All India rank 85 , GATE 2020 with All India rank 428. Mr. Pradeep Joshi is M. Sc Chemistry.
