East High School Womens Rugby was formed in 2017 through the efforts of sisters Celeste (EHS ‘18) and Sky Wilson (EHS ‘20). The goal was to provide a positive and supportive space in which players of all athletic backgrounds could grow in the sport and challenge themselves. The team has grown each year in both number of players and competitive performance, however the effort to provide a welcoming and supportive space for all players has remained.  The team started with the majority of players attending East High School, however as it has grown, more and more players are from multiple schools around Denver.
