Denver Botanic Gardens

The Denver Botanic Gardens is a public professional flowerbed situated in the Cheesman Park neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. The 23-section of land (93,000 m2) park contains a center, an assortment of subject nurseries and a depressed amphitheater, which has different shows in the late spring.

Denver Botanic Gardens includes North America's biggest assortment of plants from cold calm environments all throughout the planet, just as 7 different nurseries that generally incorporate plants from Colorado and adjoining states.

The world's first Xeriscape Demonstration Garden was made at the Gardens in 1986, and after 2 years its name was changed to Dryland Mesa. It depended on the "7 Principles" of Xeriscape, and incorporates dry season lenient plants from the parched West and Mediterranean areas.

The Japanese Garden at the Denver Botanic Gardens

The Japanese Garden is called Shofu-en—the Garden of Wind and Pines.[7] It was planned by Koichi Kawana[8] in a joint effort with Kai Kwahara.

The York Street area of the Botanic Gardens opened Denver's first freely available green roof.
