YoungLives Serving Opportunities

Leader- 2+ hours per week commitment, 10 hrs per month (needing Men & Women)

Mentoring looks different for each person. Our heart is to build a relationship with the teen mom by reach out via texting or calling; having over for dinner; inviting into your house; play-date; "hang out time"; inviting to church, etc. The goal is to build a relationship with your mentee and earn the right to be heard in their life.

Childcare - 2 times per month, 6 hrs per month, Men, Women and Teens 14+ (great for community service hours)

Club & Campaigner Support (2 times per month, 6 hrs per month) For 2021-2022, we are meeting in person for Club only.

Drivers - we will need help picking up our moms & babies; ideally it would be good to have a ride coordinator that our teen moms could call or text for rides.

Dinner- home groups, families, local restaurants providing and serving food during YLVS

Baby Closet/Storage Unit - diaper/wipe organization (this would be an ideal year long project for 1-2 home groups!)

Christmas Coordinator – we need sponsors for our moms and their children and someone to collect all the information and coordinate with sponsors to collect gifts.

Mother’s Day Coordinator – organizing photo shoots, special gifts for the girls

Ministry Support - prayer partner; financial partner; community awareness (help collect donations from local business for dinners; gift cards; diaper drive; PJ drive, etc.) Spring Fundraiser chair for YoungLives operating expenses.
