As we see the population age more and more patients in the U.S. are wearing traditional dentures. With the advancements in dental implants, many of those patients can keep the same denture that they're wearing but transition to an implant-supported scenario with extreme ease and relatively low cost. The real advantage to transition from a conventional denture to an implant-supported denture is patient comfort.
So, for most of our patients that are wearing dentures, maybe like the rest of us, one of their favorite things to do is eat.
Eating with a conventional denture can be tough. a lot of these patients have to sit down and look at a menu and decide which of the things on this menu can I eat. And so, once we transition to the implant-supported scenario patients really don't have to worry about those things anymore. They can eat what they want comfortably they can eat an apple, they can eat corn on the cob, they can enjoy a steak.
Without having to worry about whether their dentures are gonna stay in or whether they're gonna have to excuse themselves to go and put some more adhesive in the dentures so that they can finish their dinner.
