DentaBuddy App:Privacy policy

Welcome to the DentaBuddy App!

This is a Denta Buddy app developed by Denta Buddy Inc. This application has been developed in order to increase the coordination between users and their physicians in order to protect and increase dental health. 

Our main goals;

• Appointment follow-up of patients who are in the dental treatment process through the application

• Ensuring a healthier progression of the dental treatment process thanks to reminder notifications before appointments

• Sharing enlightening contents and current approaches about dental health and dental treatments with users regularly with visual content

• Creating reminder notifications in order to gain daily routine oral care habits

• Sharing information about what needs to be considered in dental treatment processes

The app stored your personal data in your device and support social media login. Once you logout from the app, it's automatically removed.

The app doesn't share your data with 3rd parties. When you want to clean the data or uninstall the app, you can do it and never share it. Only we need to see which social media account you logged in. Additionally, we haven't tracked your activities. You can change the permission what you gave before.

WHAT DATA WE COLLECT

When you sign in with your Google account, an account record is initiated for you. It contains:

• your user ID

• your email address

• the date and time of your sign-in

This account record is the only data we hold outside your own phone. Everything else you create in the app stays on your device and is never uploaded:

• your treatment start date

• your daily tooth-brushing records and the statistics built from them

• your appointments

• your theme (light or dark) preference

WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECT

• We do not collect or upload photos or videos. The app does not send any image to any server.

• We do not use push notification tokens. All reminders are created and scheduled locally on your device.

• We do not use analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking tools, and we do not track your activity in the app.

• We do not collect your location, your contacts, microphone input, or payment information.

HOW TO DELETE YOUR DATA

Signing out of the app deletes your account and all of its data, so no separate request is needed. If you cannot sign in and therefore cannot sign out, you can ask us to delete the data instead:

1. Send an email to dentabuddy.app@gmail.com from the email address you used to sign in.

2. Write "Account deletion request" in the subject line.

3. We will verify that the request comes from the account owner, delete your account and all data stored for it within 30 days, and confirm by email when it is done.
