METAMORPHOSIS: #whoami

The 9th of November stands etched in my memory—a day oscillating between the stress of uncertainty and the calmness of stasis. In the unique tapestry of the COVID era, I found myself forging an extraordinary path, navigating the chaos by immersing in books and videos that delved into philosophy and physics. Amidst this, a news item from Turkey's bustling agenda struck a chord, detailing a brutal femicide near my neighbourhood.

In a country inundated with news on femicide, violence, and human rights violations, this incident became a pivotal moment that prompted action. Disheartened by the societal apathy, I decided to take a stand. Exactly three days later, on my 16th birthday night, V FOR HUMAN was born.

This momentous decision marked a radical shift in my life. The pursuits of folk dances, music production, DJing, and technology took a backseat, at least temporarily. From a professional dancer to a developer, from an activist to a multidisciplinary entrepreneur—my life evolved into a cumulative series of progressive changes. The journey into the realm of development started with cyber security steps taken through a terminal on my phone during high school when a computer was but a distant dream.

In the sphere of Civil Society, my transition from a developer's role to on-the-ground projects happened swiftly within six months. My passion for music seamlessly blended with my entrepreneurial spirit, propelling my civil society activism.

Embarking on ambitious projects without relying on nepotism and unwavering commitment to merit posed a considerable challenge, especially in the vibrant city of Istanbul. While perspectives on failure were abundant, constructive criticism on the path to doing the right thing was notably scarce. My motivation became deeply internal, fueled by the philosophies of my idols and the pursuit of a brighter future.

In the subsequent years, I witnessed my journey extending to Thailand, with V4H at the epicentre of my life. Recognizing its role in a broader context, I ensured that values and ethics permeated every organization I engaged with. This commitment led to the inception of DSFIST Collective, a consortium of entrepreneurs and change-makers committed to revitalizing NGOs and pushing the private sector to keep pace.

Building a Sustainable United Future
In alignment with V4H and DSFIST Collective, our associated organizations are challenging societal norms in company management, ethics, and stakeholders' responsibility. Alongside our team and partners, we are constructing a pilot ecosystem for a "Sustainable United Future." It's not just about setting standards; it's about embodying values that challenge existing paradigms.

In the relentless pursuit of a better world for future generations, our mission is clear:
Towards Global Social Development for the prosperity of future generations' children.
