Dr. Zhang is a professor of accounting at the UiS School of Business and Law, University of Stavanger, Norway. He earned his Ph.D. from Auburn University, USA, in November 2011. Before transitioning to academia, Dr. Zhang spent nearly a decade working as an auditor, financial analyst, and investment manager. He has taught accounting courses in English, Norway, and Chinese, and has been actively involved in various industrial, national, and international projects. Dr. Zhang has coauthored +70 peer-reviewed articles on various subjects, including environmental impact, sustainable finance, financial performance, and agricultural prices and trade.
