Below are examples of my shop's services and capabilities. This list will evolve as the shop does and is not an all-inclusive list of offerings.

Maintenance: replacement of fluids, filters, plugs, blades, belts, tires, etc.
Repairs: engine diagnostics, electrical repair, minor metalwork, non-critical welding, etc.
Accessories: installation of seat upgrades, tire chains, lighting upgrades, covers, canopies, cup holders, etc.
Outfitting: installation and/or seasonal change-over of attachments made for your lawn tractor (mowing deck, snow plow, tiller, etc.)
Custom: shop capabilities evolve with every new project. Want an attachment or upgrade that was never made for your garden tractor? I may be able to adapt an existing product from another manufacturer or create a custom solution.
I can make "house calls"!
Select services. Base of operations = Ross County, OH
Join me where it all started, just an enthusiast in my garage.
I've been collecting, trading, operating, servicing, refurbishing, and outfitting "old iron" lawn and garden tractors since before any of my kids were ever a twinkle in the eye on date night. [Just ask my wife about the trauma of living with the tractor graveyard she never saw coming!]
At some point, I realized I'd never be able to curate a collection large enough to satisfy my enthusiasm for vintage machines, but if I learned to work on them, I'd get to play with all the toys my shop could handle. During my most recent cycle of collecting I realized that basic and preventative services are sometimes the easiest part of what I let myself get caught up in while reviving these old machines.
I do all my best work on weekends and evenings!
I work the grind 5+ days per week, just like most of you. Plus, I occasionally travel the Southern Ohio area, digging through other people's refuse, looking for vintage equipment with a fighting change of working a garden again [Just ask my father-in-law, who will probably never again volunteer to ride shotgun on another one of my "archaeological digs"!]
Shop time is my time to unplug and unwind from a week of meetings and emails, time to work with my hands, learn new skills, and maybe bring something back to life!
This abbreviated list of terms and conditions will evolve as the shop does, and is in no way to be interpreted as comprehensive documentation.
Shop hours: I don't run a full-time shop. Currently. That's the dream, just not my reality. Yet. A four-hour job in my shop might take an evening. Maybe two. Probably a Saturday morning. You get the idea.
Valet services: I don't currently offer equipment pick-up. I do have a trailer. (Heck, I can even work on trailers. Let me know if you need a job done!) But I don't always have a vehicle available for shop use that is capable of towing your equipment. Small shop problems.
Parts availability: I don't stock every part. Again, small shop problems. While I do tend to accumulate repair and service materials during my in-house project life-cycles, my storage space is quite limited, and I don't intentionally stock usable parts not specific to scheduled jobs or whatever Frankenstein's monster I'm attempting to resurrect from the scrap pile at the moment.Â
Most maintenance materials I acquire from local suppliers, en-route between my 9-5 and the shop.
Repair parts will be addressed during diagnosis and ordered as needed - this keeps shop overhead low and helps control pricing.
Parts warranties: will be limited to manufacturer warranties as obtained at parts purchase. I may warranty labor on a case-by-case basis.
Payments accepted: I don't offer consumer credit. Deposits may be required. Payments are only accepted via cash, check (local banks only), or payment apps (limited, and may incur an additional fee). Occasionally, I may entertain trades or other creative transactions (get your head out of the gutter!), but these will always be at my sole discretion.
Services available by appointment.
