WHAT IS THE DEMOCRATIC CENTRAL COMMITTEE?
The San Mateo County Democratic Central Committee is the official body representing the Democratic Party in our county charged with the responsibility of electing Democrats to local offices, coordinating support and campaign efforts with the State Party, registering local Democrats, training and engaging local activists and supporting Democratic Party causes.
The members of this body are elected in the Primary Election every four years by county supervisorial district.
The Dems United candidates are tested activists and leaders who will fulfill the mission of electing and supporting Democrats in San Mateo County.
