Engineering is the area of study I want to pursue because there is a greater need now for engineers to think creatively at a time of fast social and technical development, and taking this program can enhance my creativity to become a better engineer. Learning how to code and eventually being able to have a profession that shines in the engineering industry .I learned about some of the things done in this industry from my aunt's husband, and I thought it would be helpful to me and a fantastic learning opportunity. I thought this would be an important thing to learn for the future as it will teach me some of the skills I need for getting a job that pays well so I’ll be set financially. 

I attended a robotics class over the summer to better my knowledge of how they operate and how to construct them. The fact that I was able to construct a robot car and a claw bot and then put them to the test by using them in challenges was definitely a benefit. And now currently taking the engineering course at Dr. James A. Forrest Career and technology center. I'm hoping that by enrolling in this course, I'll learn more about needed skils, gain more practical experience, and produce projects that could be useful. I've had wonderful hands-on experience thus far, but before I go on and create an incredible product, I definitely need more practice.

I had a summer job that helped me develop leadership abilities, coworker relations, meeting presentation, effective communication techniques, and many other helpful success strategies.

My mom believed college would be a good fit for me, so that's what I'm planning to do after high school, followed by finding a career that would allow me to support my family.

This may have an impact on my community by letting more people know who I am and how much they like the creations I will soon produce. I might even get a following of people who are interested in learning more about what I do and how I do it.

 I want to have a positive effect so that people can rely on me and know I'll do my best work. The impact I have on the world will probably come from the things I build, which people will enjoy and find beneficial for their everyday requirements, or from the video games I develop, which kids will love to buy and play after school to relieve any stress they may be having.
