2024 Tournament Information

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Our JV boys listed below won this year's Matthew Cooper Memorial Tournament by narrowly edging Ralston Valley by two points in the Round Robin and then beating Chatfield in the final match to secure the overall victory.  Go Demons!

Timnath Tournament in Fort Collins on Friday, September 6th

This tournament is an elimination tournament much like Regionals. You are eliminated after your second loss. Singles Matches will be held at Timnath High School and Doubles will be held at the courts in nearby Edora Park.  The Team Bus will leave from the Golden High School Parking Lot at 6am. Matches are scheduled to begin at 8am. 

Timnath Tournament in Fort Collins on Saturday, September 7th

All players not eliminated on Friday will continue playing in the Timnath Tournament.  Players will have to arrange for their own transportation.

Doherty Varsity Tournament in Colorado Springs on Saturday, September 7th

All players eliminated on Friday from the Timnath Tournament will head to Colorado Springs on Saturday for a four team Round Robin tournament.  Some of our top JV players will also be participating. We will be playing Doherty, Mesa Ridge and Eaglecrest High Schools. The Team Bus will leave from the Golden High School parking lot at 7am.  Matches are scheduled to begin at 9am.

Challenge Matches

Challenge Matches begin on Monday, August 12th at 8am at Demon Courts.  Players should expect to play two matches per day on Monday and Tuesday. Regular after school practices begin on Wednesday, August 14th.

10 Dual Matches

3 Varsity Tournaments: Lowry Bishop at Canyon View Park in Grand Junction. The Doherty Spartan Tournament at Doherty High School in Colorado Springs. Tournament at Timnath High School and Edora Courts in Fort Collins.

2 JV Tournaments:  Matthew Cooper Memorial at Dakota Ridge High School.  Spartan JV Tournament at Doherty High School in Colorado Springs.

You can watch your boys play their matches, just utilize proper etiquette and sportsmanship. There is plenty of room around the courts to watch them play.  Spectators are not allowed to speak with players during the course of play.

Also note that JV/V2 typically play in opposite locations from Varsity. For example, if Varsity plays Chatfield at Ken Caryl, JV/V2 will play Chatfield at our home GHS courts. Check the schedule for all dates, times and venues.
