"Gurenge" (, "Red Lotus") is a song by Japanese pop singer LiSA from her fifth studio album Leo-Nine. It was released as her fifteenth single digitally on April 22, 2019,[1] and received a physical release on July 3, 2019.[2] Commercially, the single peaked at number three on the Oricon Singles Chart, and number two on Billboard Japan Hot 100. It was used as the first opening theme song for the Japanese anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.[3]

The closing ceremonies for the controversy laden 2020 Tokyo Olympics were set to a ska-influenced performance of "Gurenge," the opening theme for the first season of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba anime. The popular anime theme was original performed by singer/songwriter LiSA, who also previously provided the themes for anime such as The Irregular at Magic High School and Sword Art Online. "Gurenge" peaked at number 2 on Billboard Japan's Hot 100 rankings and was also the first song by a female artist in Japan to surpass over 1 million paid downloads.

Here's the official music video for Demon Slayer's theme song "Gurenge" by singer LiSA. Demon Slayer has become somewhat inescapable in pop culture since the manga series debuted in 2016. Both the manga and its subsequent anime adaptation follow a young warrior named Tanjiro Kamado, who joins the Demon Slayer Corps after his family is wiped out by a demon attack. His young sister Nezuko survived but was infected, so Tanjiro sets out on a quest to find a cure while battling a score of powerful villains.

Like any major anime, Demon Slayer features a memorable theme song to open the show. In this case, the song is called "Gurenge," or "Red Lotus" by Japanese singer/songwriter LiSA. This is an insanely catchy rock song that is inspired by the journey of Tanjiro and Nezuko, and how they have the strength to move on and keep fighting despite their past and the obstacles - or bloodthirsty demons - standing in their way. Watch an edited version of LiSA's video for the song below.

A complete version of "Gurenge," which runs for four minutes, can also be found here. The music video for Demon Slayer's "Gurenge" lacks the painterly demon fights of the series, and instead sees LiSA singing against a stark white or black background while demonic dancers perform routines. The song was a huge success in its native Japan, where it reached No.1 on the Billboard Hot Animation of the Year chart in 2020.

The opening theme song "Kizuna no Kiseki" (Bonds of Miracle) will be performed by MAN WITH A MISSION and milet for the upcoming television anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc (Kimetsu no Yaiba: Katanakaji no Sato-Hen), according to a livestream presentation for the Demon Slayer series on Friday. A music preview is being streamed by Aniplex (region locked to Japan only).

A livestream presentation for the Demon Slayer franchise revealed on Friday that MAN WITH A MISSION and milet will perform the opening theme song "Kizuna no Kiseki" (Bonds of Miracle) for the upcoming Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc (Kimetsu no Yaiba: Katanakaji no Sato-Hen) television anime. Aniplex is streaming a preview of the song.

Demon Slayer's third season released a new trailer earlier today, giving us a look at the powerful upper-tier demons known as the Upper Moons, but this wasn't the only surprise that the Ufotable anime adaptation had for fans. Alongside the new trailer, the third season revealed the new opening theme for the upcoming episodes from the band MAN WITH A MISSION. Titled "Kizuna no Kiseki", the upcoming opening will be in good company as Shonen fans consider Demon Slayer's themes to be some of the best in the business.

When last we left Tanjiro and his fellow members of the Demon Slayer Corps, the swordsmen were licking their wounds following the fight against Gyutaro and Daki as a part of the Entertainment District Arc. With the Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui grappling with the idea of retiring as a result of the injuries he sustained while fighting Gyutaro, which included him losing both an arm and an eye, more responsibility is going to fall on the next generation of demon slayers. With the first episode hinting at the introduction of some of Muzan's strongest lieutenants that have yet to fully appear in the anime adaptation, Tanjiro and company are in for some big battles in the anime's future.

Often time, the anime opening animation sequence is aligned and synced with the song melodies. What was the collaborative and creative process like with the anime staff and staff in charge of the OP animation?

LiSA, who sang the original Demon Slayer theme song, Gurenge, returns to sing the opening and outro for this arc. The opening theme is called Akeboshi and it features intense and beautiful string melodies to start the song. The outro theme is called Shirogane. It's a little more hype than the opener as a faster-paced song, but it blends more string melodies with LiSA's signature rock anthem feel.

It's what Tanjiro wanted in the first place and what moves him to be a strong member of the demon slayer core: A safe and happy family. Tanjiro's deep slumber has him back in his old look, in the snowy mountains where he grew up with his family, selling coal when he became old enough.

In the video, we see significant screen time dedicated to Tanjiro, Nezuko, Mitsuri, and Muichiro Tokito. Flashbacks of these characters provide insight into their pasts, while other scenes highlight the swordsmiths hard at work forging katanas. The battles to come in the season are also teased, with Genya Shinazugawa (a fan favourite character for manga readers) making an appearance by firing a bullet from his shotgun. Zenitsu and Inosuke, on the other hand, only have brief appearances alongside the entire demon slayer corps. It is expected that both Zenitsu and Inosuke will have little screen time for Swordsmith Village Arc.

The number of episodes for Demon Slayer Season 3 has yet to be confirmed. Crunchyroll is officially streaming the season in various regions, including North America, so fans outside of Japan can enjoy the latest adventures of Tanjiro and the demon slayers. The excitement for this new season is palpable, with viewers eager to see how the story unfolds in the Swordsmith Village Arc. ff782bc1db
