Research Interests

1. Evolutionary dental research

• Investigate mammalian dental functional morphology, morphometrics, and evolution

• Analyze incremental dental tissues as potential archives of diet, physiology, and life history

2. Stable isotope ecology

• Use modeling approach to simulate how environmental isotope signatures are transferred to different animal tissues

3. Paleoclimatology

• Develop stable isotope explicit models and proxy system models for quantitative interpretation of proxy data

4. Methodology

• Develop quantitative methods and open source algorithms that make isotope science and morphometrics more accessible
