Research Interests

1. Evolutionary dental research

• Investigate dental microstructure, functional morphology, morphometrics, and evolution 

• Analyze dental tissues as potential archives of diet, physiology, and life history for forensic applications 

2. Stable isotope ecology

• Combine data and modeling approaches to simulate how environmental isotope signatures are transferred to different animal tissues 

3. Paleoclimatology and Paleoecology

• Use isotope tracers and Bayesian models to facilitate quantitative interpretations of climatic and ecological proxies. 

4. Methodology

• Develop quantitative methods and open source algorithms that make isotope science and morphometrics more accessible
