The 2nd International Workshop on Designing and Measuring Security in Software Architectures
(DeMeSSA)
Paper submission:
DeMeSSA 2022 invites two kinds of submissions:
Regular papers (at most 12 pages in LNCS + 2 extra pages for references) that describe novel contributions to the state-of-the-art, reporting on work or experiences in industry or industrial-relevant case or field studies
Short papers (at most 6 pages in LNCS + 2 extra pages for references) that describe work in progress with promising preliminary results, new ideas, challenging issues for application in the industry and experience reports.
Submission Guidelines and review process:
All submitted papers to the workshop must be unpublished original work and must not be simultaneously under review or submitted elsewhere.
All submissions will be reviewed by at least three members of the program committee for originality, quality, soundness, and relevance.
Plagiarism checking will be conducted and any paper reporting more than a 20% match with published work will be desk-rejected.
The review process is single-blind (i.e., authors’ information should be included in the paper).
DeMeSSA 2022 will use a two-step process for workshop proceedings :
Pre-Proceedings: Before the conference, online proceedings will be available on the ECSA 2022 web page (no proceedings), and will include all the workshop accepted papers. The accepted papers will be accessible only by the ECSA 2022 workshop participants and the format should be conform to LNCS format
Post-Proceedings: After the conference, post-proceedings will include selected and extended papers from the workshop to be published in a Springer LNCS volume (up to 16 pages). Candidate papers for post-proceedings will be identified during the initial paper review and workshop paper reviewers will indicate if an extended and revised version of an accepted submission should be considered for publication in the post-proceedings. Workshop papers submitted for the post-proceedings will undergo through a minor revision cycle where the extensions with respect to the workshop versions will be checked by the reviewers.
All contributions must be formatted according to the Springer LNCS style (http://www.springer.com/computer/lncs?SGWID=0-164-6-793341-0).
Page limits include figures and references. Contributions need to be submitted in pdf format via EasyChair: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=demessa2022
The proceedings will be published by Springer-Verlag as part of the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series.
