Deltasoft Interactive was founded in 1982. the company soon acquired several more conglomorates.

the name "Deltasoft" comes from the greek letter "delta" (meaning "change in" or "difference") fused with "soft" a shortened version of the word "software." The word was chosen to mean "change in software."
