Help Us Celebrate our 10th Anniversary!
June 7, 2025 By Delta Robotics
Here at Delta Robotics FTC Team 9925, 3D printing is at the core of everything we do. From outreach projects and functional prototypes to full-scale robot parts, we rely on 3D printing to bring our ideas to life in the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC).
After years of dedicated service, our Anet A8 and Creality CR-10 printers have finally reached the end of the line. While we've been able to continue printing using a team member’s personal printer, it's not a long-term solution — coordinating prints off-site is time-consuming and sometimes difficult during the busiest parts of the season.
We’re now seeking a sponsor to help us acquire a reliable, advanced 3D printer capable of printing a wide range of materials, including:
PLA for rapid prototyping
TPU for flexible components
Carbon-fiber nylon (PA6-CF) for durable, high-strength parts
Our team includes multiple members with years of 3D printing experience, and we regularly use this technology for:
Robot design and construction
STEM outreach and education
Custom solutions for unique FTC challenges
A new 3D printer will significantly improve our design workflow, reduce turnaround times, and allow us to take our innovation to the next level — all while continuing to mentor and support other teams and students in our community.
Want to support youth innovation?
We’d love to partner with a company or individual passionate about STEM education and real-world learning. In return, we proudly offer sponsor recognition on our robot, website, and pit at competitions.
