2026-2027 Programs

September 14, 2026 - 6:00 p.m. -  Foundations of DKG - A History of Alpha Chapter - Presented by Kristen Marstaller. Supporting society's purpose to "unite women educators of the world in a genuine fellowship." Meet at Lee Elementary. 

October 5, 2026 - 6:00 p.m. - League of Woman Voters Presentation - Supporting society's purpose to "the members of current economic, social, political and educational issues so that they may participate effectively to support a sustainable world society." Meet at Lee Elementary.  

November 2, 2026- 6:00  p.m. - Make a Gift - Supporting society's purpose to "awards to aid members in pursuing professional and personal development and to provide grants to non-member educators."  

December 2026 - 12:00 p.m. - Holiday Tea. Supporting society's purpose to "unite women educators of the world in a genuine fellowship."  Meeting location TBD. 

February 1, 2027 - 6:00 p.m. - Member Potluck & Presentation by Stacy Arnold, Texas State Organization President - Supporting society's purpose to "unite women educators of the world in a genuine fellowship."    Meet at Westminster Presbyterian Church. 

March 1, 2027 - 6:00  p.m. -  What is available to Austin students planning for ACC? - Amy Bawcom, Senior Director of Leadership Giving, College Advancement, and ACC Foundation.  Supporting society's purpose to "stimulate the professional and personal development of members and to encourage their participation in relevant programs of action." Meet at Lee Elementary.

April 5, 2027 - 6:00 p.m. - Necrology Ceremony & Installation of Officers.  Supporting society's purpose to "honor women who have given or who evidence a potential for distinctive service in any field of education."   Meet at Lee Elementary.

May 2027 - 12:00 p.m. - Founder's Day Celebration & Luncheon. Supporting society's purpose to "unite women educators of the world in a genuine fellowship." Location TBD.
