2025-2026 Programs

September 8, 2025 - 6:00 p.m. -   Member Travel facilitated by Maureen Slocum. Members will describe a favorite trip or vacation she has taken and show a souvenir or memento from that place. Supporting society's purpose to "unite women educators of the world in a genuine spiritual fellowship." Meet at Lee Elementary. 

October 6, 2025 - 6:00 p.m. - Leaf Rubbings (watercolor) presented by Kristen Marstaller. Supporting society's purpose to "unite women educators of the world in a genuine spiritual fellowship." Meet at Lee Elementary.  

November 3, 2025- 6:00  p.m. - ASTEF/Scholarships presented by Dr. Rosemary Morrow.   Supporting society's purpose to "endow scholarships to aid outstanding women educators in pursuing graduate study and to grant fellowships to non-member women educators."  

December 6, 2025 - 2:00 p.m. - Holiday Social. Supporting society's purpose to "unite women educators of the world in a genuine spiritual fellowship."  Meeting location TBD. 

February 2, 2026 - 6:00 p.m. - Special Guest: AISD Superintendent. Supporting society's purpose to "inform the members of current economic, social, political and educational issues so that they may participate effectively in a world society."   Meet at Lee Elementary. 

March 2, 2026 - 6:00  p.m. - Digital Literacies: Using Technology in the Classroom and in our Personal Lives presented by Jenny Day and Melissa Thomas. Supporting society's purpose to "stimulate the personal and professional growth of members and to encourage their participation in appropriate programs of action." Meet at Lee Elementary.

April 6, 2026 - 6:00 p.m. - Necrology Ceremony & Installation of Officers.  Supporting society's purpose to "honor women who have given or who evidence a potential for distinctive service in any field of education."   Meet at Lee Elementary.

May 2, 2026 - 11:30 a.m. - Founder's Day Celebration & Luncheon. Supporting society's purpose to "unite women educators of the world in a genuine spiritual fellowship." Location TBD.
