Why Rush?

Since 1892, Delta Chi has served as a pillar of the Greek community at the University of Minnesota. As the second-oldest and longest continually-running chapter on campus, we pride ourselves on the impact we have made here over the last 120-plus years. NFL Hall of Famers, renowned musicians and high-profile government officials have all called 1601 University Avenue home, and have contributed to our lasting legacy here in Minneapolis.

Today we strive to carry on our legacy athletically, academically and socially and continue to hold ourselves and our peers to a high standard. With championships in Flag Football, Dodgeball and Floor Hockey, we remain committed to excellence in intramural. We have one of the best GPAs on campus, excellent academic advisors, and an outstanding academic scholarship program. So, we to push the envelope academically. And through an extraordinary brotherhood, strong and growing ties with other Greek organizations, and extra-curricular involvement, our social presence on campus has never been stronger.

Athletes and scientists, thinkers and doers, visionaries and performers all currently call Delta Chi home. In our recruits, we look for balanced men who bring something new to the table, but also share the same values of friendship, character, justice and education that we as a fraternity hold true to. We’re excited to watch Delta Chi continue to grow through our future members, and would love the opportunity to introduce ourselves and show you what we’re about.
