The Mental Health Committee is a new committee focused on our philanthropy, mental health. Events the committee is putting on for the semester include a Brother Affirmations Google Form, Mental Health Awareness Week, and many more events! Mental Health Awareness Week will be March 8-12, with enhanced social media presence regarding mental health as well as a fundraiser done by the fraternity to raise money for various mental health based organizations.

I am a sophomore Accounting Student at UD, and I am the head of the Mental Health Committee. I rushed AKPsi in the fall of my freshman year. I have enjoyed every single second of being in AKPsi and have gained so much from being a brother. In my free time, I like to relax and watch sports, hang out with friends, and workout. I wanted to create this new committee to ensure we use our platform to help raise awareness for mental health and so that our brothers feel loved and valued each and every day. I am excited to see where we will go in the future with this committee!
I am a junior Economics Student at UD. I rushed AKPsi in the spring of my sophomore year. Being a part of AKPsi has not only introduced me to amazing people, but has also helped me focus on things I am passionate about. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends or going on a hike to enjoy nature. I joined this committee because I knew how impactful it could be not just for the fraternity but for the entire UD community. Everyone on the committee is very passionate about the work and inspire me to be the best version of me possible. I know this committee is going to do big things in the future!
I am a sophomore Marketing Student at UD. I rushed AKPsi in the fall of my sophomore year. Being apart of AKPsi has helped build my professional skills but also introduced me to so many amazing people on campus. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, creating art, reading, and spending time outdoors. I joined this committee because mental health is something that I am very passionate about, and it is especially important during the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. My goal for the committee is to not only positively affect the brothers, but also the entire Dayton community. I can not wait to see how this committee progresses!
