 Pet Carrier Requirements - Make sure your pet fits comfortably in a small, ventilated carrier under the seat in front of you. The following requirements must be met:

• Emergency exit no storage seat flat bed seats

• Rows 46-51 on A330-200 aircraft

• Rows 54-59 on A330-300 aircraft

Pets are not allowed as Delta pets in cabin service to the following destinations

• Large pet crates need to be carried as cargo.

•  Primates and reptiles must be shipped as cargo.

•  Delta pet fees will be applied per pet during airport check-in and at each layover.

•  Exceptions can be made for routes with connections lasting more than 6 hours.

• Pets/animals do not count towards free baggage allowance.

•  There is no additional charge for excessive size or weight.

 Pet carrier required - To transport your pet as checked baggage, a Delta-approved pet carrier crate is required, following USDA and IATA guidelines. The crate should have enough room for your pet to stand, sit, turn around, and lie down comfortably.

Additional USDA requirements for crates include:

Constructed from rigid materials (no cardboard) such as plastic, wood, or metal wheels not allowed

• Ventilation openings on three sides, covering the top 2/3 of the crate

• Functional handle on the exterior to prevent tilting.

• Secure closure with zip ties for transit protection, plus labels indicating "live animal" and straight arrow positions-bedding or absorbent material inside the crate

• Two dishes for food and water, attached to the crate door and easily accessible

• Affix clear feeding instructions and sender and receiver information to the top of the crate.
