Description: After earlier installments in Paris (2022), Tours (2024) and Lille (2025), we are happy to announce that the fourth workshop ‘Des Langues Pas Si Mortes’ (DELPASIMO 4) will take place at the Côte d’Azur University (Nice, France) on March 13-14, 2026. The event is hosted by the lab ‘Bases, Corpus, Langage’ (BCL, UMR 7320).
The workshop series DELPASIMO is devoted to the formal grammar of historical languages, primarily from a synchronic (rather than diachronic) perspective. The conference is open for work on phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics and pragmatics.

Call for papers: We now invite abstract submissions for DELPASIMO 4. Oral presentations will be 30 minutes long, followed by 10 minutes of discussion. Abstracts should be anonymous and no longer than two A4 pages, including references and examples, in 12-point Times New Roman, with margins of at least 2,5 cm / 1 inch. Submissions are limited to a maximum of one individual and one joint abstract per author.

The deadline for submission of abstracts is 15 December 2025.
Notification of acceptance: 15 January 2026.
