My Story

My name is Giuseppe De Lorenzo,  I started trading in 2019.

I got interested in the markets and had no idea where to start.

I simply opened a brokerage account and googled '' best stocks to buy'', My first stock buy doubled overnight ( Beginner's luck) I sold for a profit and bought into a new google suggested stock, that one too within a day or two almost double in value. It all seemed too easy.

I then discovered options and learned a bit about them, my first option trade turned $100 into $5950, I bought the option at market close the day before and I sold at the open the next morning, you are probably thinking this guy is either lying or is the luckiest guy in the world, neither one, in fact that is the worst thing that could happen to me, I was in the mindset of no matter what I buy it makes money.

Shortly after that the losses started coming in, I had no strategy, no risk management and losses seemed like a slap in the face after I got used to the frequent lucky wins. Most trades I took ended up as losing trades, I couldn't understand why, I had more knowledge of the stock market than when I started, I was studying and reading about trading almost all day, but yet I kept losing.

It got so bad that I didn't want to go out with friends or enjoy things that I normally like to do, I was so focused on studying and learning trading, I was jumping from strategy to strategy, from guru to guru, no matter what I did the losses kept coming, I couldn't understand how can somebody love trading so much but be so bad at it.

It took probably until 2022 to turn the corner ,4 years later, 4 years of struggling, wasted time, mentally drained and after many losses. It finally clicked, at this point I wasn't even the same person that came into trading in 2019, the expectations were different, my view on trading and life had changed.

This activity changes you at the core, teaches you a lot about yourself, it brings up things you had no idea were buried inside you.

I'm not perfect, and I'll never be, always learning and studying the markets.

I now try to help people that feel stuck, like I did, struggling to find a direction and a system, to avoid them the mistakes, the dead ends, the wasted time.
