Partner School Visit

Today we were supposed to have an observation at DSM, but yesterday our cooperating teacher informed us that today the school was switched to an online school. Therefore, my cooperating teacher told me that I didn't need to attend the online class today. 

At around 10 a.m., my two pre-service friends and I had an appointment to visit with the chairman of early childhood education and our supervisor teacher to UST's partner inclusive school, The Vanguard Academy.

My first impression upon entering The Vanguard's school environment was amazement. The Vanguard Academi looks very grand and luxurious in terms of security and building, and the structure of the building is very adequate as an inclusive school. 

At The Vanguard Academy, we exchanged a lot of knowledge about education in the Philippines and Indonesia, be it the education system, curriculum, inclusive education, and so on. we were also invited to tour the classrooms and children with special needs learning with their teachers and mentors.

Here we also get a lot of lessons and more motivation to look at and develop education, not only for normal children but also for children with special needs.
