I am having issues with my laptop not detecting my audio card, neither the speakers, the microphone or the 3.5 jack work, i have seen online that is a known issue with this model's mother board, i have tried unisntalling and re installing the drivers and software but nothing works, by unpligging and pluggin back in the flex connector that connects the audio card to the motherboard fixed the issue temporarily but it does not work anymore. has anyone had this issue and be able to fix it? all help is appreciated.

Well I will suggest you to update outdated or malfunctioning drivers. Make sure your audio driver is up to date and update it if needed. If that doesn't work, try uninstalling the audio driver (it will reinstall automatically). If that doesn't work, try using the generic audio driver that comes with Windows.

Solved! My dell monitor had started showing an annoying error every 30 seconds or so saying 'Unsupported audio format. Set the audio output to pulse code modulation PCM'. I solved it with a quick change to my video card settings.

Periodically updating audio drivers can help avoid performance issues and introduce new product features. New audio driver packages may fix bugs that cause sound issues, while helping to enhance your sound devices. Generally, updating all your PC drivers will ensure your computer and accessories are functioning at their best.

If you are missing audio drivers on Windows 10 you have two options: you can run a Windows Update to automatically find new or missing audio drivers. Or you can use the Device Manager feature to search for missing audio drivers. 006ab0faaa
